When I was a little girl, I dreamed of winning an Oscar every time I watched the Academy Awards. I was captivated by the beautiful gowns, movie stars and the flickering images on the big screen. Years later in college, I realized that the real power is behind the camera. The ability to artistically capture life's decisive moments is a unique skill greatly appreciated by the subjects in the photos. It is a great honor to follow in the steps of my grandfather and father who were great family photographers dedicated to stopping moments in time that are greatly cherished by my relatives. My family is the subject of a lifelong photographic essay that I continue to create every day.
